Comments: I am a family nurse practitioner who chose Dr. Darr to do my total knee replacement. In addition to being an excellent surgeon (judging by my great outcome and those of a friend), Dr. Darr is a good listener, was responsive to my questions, and even responded to my emails after office visits and before surgery. I recovered very quickly, and was walking without support by the 12th day, and doing stairs pretty easily by the 5th-6th week. I highly recommend him for knee surgeries such as mine. Be aware that the stronger you are before surgery, the faster you will recover!
